In this research, the aim is to better understand how a Large Language Model (LLM)(ChatGPT) implementation influences response exploration and data quality in experience sampling methods. A Conversational User Interface (CUI) has been designed that controls the conversational flow of ChatGPT in an Experience Sampling Survey, furthermore, the CUI can make up their own responses based on the participants' input.
In the end, it comes down to collecting data from participants and using this data to create personalized responses from an LLM CUI. This way research teams can automate surveys and have the CUI respond to context related input from the participant. The goal for the Client is to gather more qualitative data from their customers, and use this information to tailor/design new products for their customers.
